Grey Wool Felt Top Hat - Christys Fashion Topper

Top Hats for sale come in various types and colours, this Grey Topper is made from wool felt (not fur felt) that provides a timeless classic robust and low maintenance topper (Typically Wool felts need brushing as opposed additional care for polished hats like Antique / Vintage Silk Plush Top Hats and "Melusine" fur felt hats that have a luxurious high sheen and lustre). It comes with a leather sweatband and finished with a Grosgrain Hat Band and Bow on the Left Side.

Traditionally at the Royal Enclosure for many years, "Ascot Grey" was considered the colour associated with Toppers for the Royal Week of Racing in June at Ascot. As in days past "Black" toppers would be more frequent for Everyday-wear, and Evening-wear; So Grey became considered more Day-wear at select events like no other when Toppers were more frequently worn.

This fashion Top Hat is great starter topper but still meets the requirement of the Royal Enclosure dress code or just as fashionable on worn by a band musician or at a Country Show. It has a more visible machine stitched Brim Edge and has a slightly different Crown Shape than other higher end Christys' Topper models.
