At Ascot Top hats we can provide the accoutrements for the traditional gentleman, and race-goer alike. The umbrellas, dress canes, shooting sticks / seats and tippling sticks that we supply have all have been made in England. Our range by Classic Canes (suppliers of contemporary and traditional walking sticks, seat sticks, folding sticks and umbrellas) is perfect for the most important occasions including weddings, operas, theatre or even as gifts.
Hat care
Our top hats come with a oval hat box as standard, and our silk hats also come with a brush and velvet pad for polishing. Should you wish an additional box or care kit these can be purchased below. For the classic gentleman we also provide new hand stitched bridle/saddle leather hat cases, these wonderful cases are made in the traditional way and are lined with a burgundy silk velvet.

Our spats are hand-made in the traditional way with correct buttons and leather buckle strap for adjustment and our range of DENTS dress gloves and silk ties in the classic houndstooth design are perfect to finish your outfit for Royal Ascot.

Dress canes
Canes have been an integral part of British town and country style for centuries. Smart hardwood and formal silver-topped canes have long been a favourite accessory of a gentleman, and formal dress is at its most elegant when one's ensemble is completed with a cane.
All dress canes provided by Ascot Top Hats are hallmarked 925 sterling silver, and are perfect for the distinguished gentleman or lady. Should you wish engraving on the cane, we recommend stock number :ATH_4026 Gentleman's silver patterned knob, which has a flat top ideal for engraving initials. The dress canes are made with black hardwood shafts of a standard 92cm length.

Shooting sticks and seats
Wherever you are out grouse shooting or don't shoot at all and just feel it is time to take the weight off your feet and relax for a bit, we have the perfect solution. Classic Canes Ascot range, are great for all sports occasions and outdoor pursuits, from walking on the moors to going to Ascot itself. The adjustable and umbrella model shooting sticks come with a Folding Ground Plate. The 'golf' version has a interchangeable plate and cover to save the greens on the golf course!

Tippling sticks
The original tippling stick (also called a 'Tippling Bertie') was reported to be invented for Prince Edward. His Bond street haberdasher designed the walking stick with a cleverly tucked away whiskey phial, to keep his drinking a secret from Queen Victoria whilst attending Royal Ascot.
The activity to tipple means that ones takes one's drinks regularly, so tippling canes are the perfect gift for that someone who does enjoy their regular consummation.
Each tippling stick comes with a 50cm phial to store the hidden beverage, these eminently respectable canes will help keep a supply of your favourite drink to hand.
